TK Design Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2008 on the principle that front-end technology design and planning enables projects to progress more smoothly, creates more accurate equipment and labor costing, and helps clients get the most technology functionality for their budget.
The staff at TK Design Solutions has provided Project Management and design services for Audio Systems, Video Systems, Control Systems, Network systems, Security Systems, Telephone Systems, and Kiosks. The staff has worked with clients as diverse as Walt Disney Theme Parks, Universal Studios, Apple Computers, Perot Systems, UCLA, Sony General Growth Partners (GGP), and Cal Tech.
Carlos Teran, Principal. After beginning his career in the Broadcast industry in the early 1980’s, Carlos Teran worked on numerous projects with clients such as Walt Disney Imagineering, Disneyland, Apple Computers, Sony Entertainment, ATK Audiotek, and Western Asset Management. Carlos has led the development of Theme Park Audio and Video systems, Theme Park Interactive systems, Video Conferencing systems, Teleconferencing systems, Presentation rooms, and Theater Audio systems. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Cal Poly Pomona and frequently attends manufacturer training classes to further his skills in the development of software for AMX, Crestron, Media Matrix, and Alcorn McBride control systems.
Jason Koehler, Principal. For over 24 years, Jason Koehler has worked closely with prominent architectural and engineering companies, including Walt Disney Imagineering, Iwerks Entertainment, Showscan Entertainment, United Airlines, Sony Entertainment, Warner Brothers, Baker Entertainment Integrators, Six Flags Theme Park, Edwards Technologies Inc., Spinitar, and Vantage Technology Consulting Group. Jason holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and Recording Arts (BSMR) from the University of Southern California (USC). In his ongoing commitment to cutting-edge know-how, Jason also completes supplemental technology courses and seminars at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and various vendor and industry classes, including CTS and CTS-D certification from Infocomm and Crestron DMC-D.
